Rotarian Clem Lafleur invited Shawn Pitre from Doug Ashy Building Materials to present Tuesday's program to the Ville Platte Rotary Club. Mr. Pitre has been working for Doug Ashy for 31 years. He began washing toilets. From there, he drove trucks, stocked the store, and became Millwork Manager for doors and windows. He then became the Assistant Store Manager and then the Store Manager. His objective is to take care of his customers and keep business in Ville Platte. He treats everyone with honesty, dignity and respect! He thanked the club for inviting him and for working with him.

Mr. Pitre invited everyone to come see him if there is anything you need at Doug Ashy Building Materials

Mr. Pitre also talked to us about an existing program at Ville Platte High offering students on the job training. Doug Ashy is helping the community by offering valuable training to these students!

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 15th, and the program will be presented by Jimmy Lafleur
